Queerer Than Dirt

Bridging queer ecologies, queer futures, and 2SLGBTQ+ community building in rural/remote spaces, Queerer Than Dirt is a recurring themed residency dedicated to connecting 2SLGBTQ+ artists, writers, and makers. Gathering outside of urban centers for 2SLGBTQ+ communities frequently presents barriers and challenges, both in terms of remote geographies and social climates. Queerer Than Dirt opens spaces for urban and rural 2SLGBTQ+ artists to connect, build community, and make in an affirming environment where 2SLGBTQ+ communities flourish.
